About Me
I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri. I moved to Orlando in July 2007 and began training capoeira shortly thereafter. I am attending the University of Central Florida working toward my Master's Degree in Social Work.
How were you introduced to Capoeira?
I drove by a marial arts gym everyday to and from work and noticed they offered capoeira. I didn't know much about it but was interested in the dicipline. One day on my way home I stopped in to get some information. Ever since my first class I haven't stopped training. |

I'm Brazilian and it's part of my culture; I've just never found a location to study capoeira till I moved to Orlando. |

I found capoeira by playinng Tekken and using Eddy Gordo, I had a friend who knew what his style was and told me a little about it. I found a flier when I moved to Florida about 5 years ago, naturally I went to the class and havent left. |

About Me
To me capoeira is everything. The you way walk, the way you talk, the way you carry yourself. Capoeira is life. There are no rules,no ring, no referee there is only you and your comrade. There is no pin or tko just the excitment of seeing how you can adapt to your opponents moves and change the outcome of the game. Capoeira is everything ,axe
How were you introduced to Capoeira?
When I was younger I remember seeing capoeira in movies and games but it wasnt till I moved (around 2005) that I found schools that trained in the art. When I decided to take a break from boxing in 2008 I started to look for another art form. Coming home from work, stuck in traffic I saw a gym that taught the discipline I walked in and have not stopped since. |

About Me
Instructor of Orlando Topazio. I've been training martial arts all my life (boxing, muay thai, jui-jitsu, judo, wing chun, kali, tai chi, etc.). I've been training capoeira since 96' (14yrs). For me, capoeira is ultimately about your soul expression combined with your mind and body. |
